Title | Letter to Frederick Smith from Fred Bullock, Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, 10 Red Lion Square, London, W.C, 17 Apr 1912 |
Date | 14-17 Apr 1912 |
Extent | 4 folios |
Description | Bullock writes about the results of his research, on behalf of Smith, into subjects including: works by Fabricius, Saboureux, Columella and Vegetius. Bullock also asks if Smith would like him to research any Greek manuscripts held in France.
Attached are manuscript notes regarding Saboureux de la Bonneterie works held at the British Museum, in Bullock's handwriting, with several annotations by Smith. The first page of notes are dated 14 Apr 1912. It is possible that these notes were passed back and forth between Smith and Bullock more than once, and so could have been originally enclosed with previous letters. |
